Added 3 more nice crappie to the basket this morning, one is right at 2lbs. Going back this evening and see if I can catch some more. Caught these fish in 12 feet deep in 24 feet of water using wassit jigs, brown with golden hues. The others were all on minnows. Forgot to check the water temp, will do that this evening.

Fished Eufala Wednesday with my good friend. Fished from daylight until about 5 pm. Fished single pole single jig in water from 2 to 6 feet deep. Fished the brush piles we had put out last fall. Our reward was 65 nice slab crappie. Anything with chartreuse seemed to work. Had the pleasure of meeting clifft60 today. Hope to see him again soon. It was a pleasure visiting with you!

Fished again today with with another friend. Same technique, except we only fished until 11 am today. Had 23 nice slabs to clean. Biggest fish was 1lb 12 oz and had three at 1lb 11 oz and three more at 1lb. 10oz. They were all taken in 6 feet of water or less. WT was about 57 on Wednesday and about 63 today when we left.

On another note, I was finally able to purchase my annual corp lake pass today! Tired of filling out those envelopes! I sure missed having it! It's well worth the $30. IMO

I was wondering the same thing Logan, was thinking about going down Saturday. But worried about this cold front that went through giving em lock jaw. What do y'all think?
