Saw two guys walking the banks yesterday in there waders, both had a nice stringer of males. Said there was a few up there to catch. Water temp was 61 degrees! EB

Hat, I was thinking the same thing about Cricket's post. Now I have to ask you the same question. I'm guessing that you are fishing right now, after getting up at 4:00 in order to catch the early bite. Hoping to make it over there this weekend.

On second thought, maybe you were up all night cleaning fish with a smile on your face. Either way sounds good.

Sorry to hear that, Hat. Red cedars are putting out a lot of pollen right now, and were whipping me pretty good. Fortunately, Nasalcrom takes care of that for me. The good news is that my allergy doctor says that being out on the lake is good for allergies, since the allergens settle on the water. If you are in a boat, or on the bank with the wind in your face, the allergies will give you a break. On the other hand, if you have my wife's cold, it will pass, hopefully before the big bite ends.
ps Allergies can start at any age. I never had one until I was in my thirties, out hunting sage hens in Montana. Ten years later, Dr. Wells said he had never seen anyone who was allergic to every tree, grass, weed, etc. He said the only thing I wasn't allergic to was horses.

Claritin D 12 hr is your allergy friend. Don't use 24 hr or you'll be up all night.
