Size: 41.6 KBFished Eufaula yesterday from 3 to 6 in the rain. Water vis was ten inches, temp was 73, shad were everywhere. I caught fish off piles along the rap at 8 to 14 feet. Caught maybe 15 or so up to 1.25 lbs. Used some baits from G-daddy. MO Magic in Alan's smoke and a slabmaster with a purple flake body with a green tail. I liked the baits, hard durable bodies, good and smelly, great action on the tails in the water and very visible colors.

Those are some dandy slabs! Glad the baits were working for you!

The professional has frank's baits also. Therefore I have some , haha! I will say the same as Fishers. They are tough and fish great!

Fished for a few hours last Saturday morning at our dock. Only caught 1 decent crappie and 2 little bitty cats -- they sure can hit a light crappie rod hard to where you think you've got a monster on there. Fishing tight lines with minnows. Fished again on Sunday and not much better luck. The water temp is still pretty warm so I'll probably wait till November to give it another attempt.

I think most of the crappie in Eufaula melted this summer.
