I was able to get out yesterday 9:00-3:00 and we had 18 keepers. the fish were shallow 2-4 fow. we couldnt get bit in water deeper than 5 ft. We were fishing pearl baby shads and lime/cahrt vibra's. The biggest fish cam out of knee deep water! It wasnt as good as last weekend but we had to knock off early. I think the bite would have gotten better later in the day

Well I went by myself on the south end of Eufaula yesterday and had 12 keepers. I strated at Coal creek and ended up at Elm Point. The fish semed to be on the brush still, if I was close to the creek the fish were in brush in 1-3ft, if I was on main lake they were in brush in 7-10ft. It was nice to be out again having to wear a sweat shirt because I was chilly. Im ready to put out some rods and cover some water, tired of hunting brushpiles. EB

Was able to get out this morning by myself on the north end and had 17 keepers. Also caught 9 short fish as well. The bite was off somewhat from what it had been last week and the water has gotten stained with about 3" to 4" vis.. All fish came on Pumkin/Chart beavers with flame orange on the tails and Pumkin/Chart Slab Slayers in 3" which I split the tail to give it alittle more action. If you wasn't on wood you didn't get bit. Water Temp was 76.6 degrees and with no sunshine it remained there all day. DOW today was 6' to 11' and again on wood....Ranger

Can tell you where not to go and fish. Fished the Crowder and Rock Creek areas today and ended up with 8 keepers. Had 5 or so in the 10 to 10 1/2" length that I didn't keep. The little fish were certainly on today catching 24 short fish though. WT was 75.4 in that area of the lake today and it was wood that I fished. Also long lined the rap and didn't get a single bump. DOW was 4' to 8' and you had to be on wood and deep into it as well. Bobby Garlands Slab Slayers in pumkin/chart and Yum Baby Shads in black/chart worked today. The fish are still on main lake areas and still in the summer time pattern. Talked to several fisherman coming back from Blocker Bridge Area and they didn't have anything good to say about the rap there either. Today was an exploring trip to look at different water and to my surprise its most certainly cleaner on that end of the lake. Visibilty was 6" to 10" depending on how far up the creek you went.....Ranger

There seems to be someone catching them on the lake somewhere really good. You just dont always hear about it. I know the last three falls the porum area has been really good. Starting in October and going to the winter, but I havent got to expeirence it yet! EB

Fished this afternoon after eating lunch with my Gr'Daughters at school for Gr'parents day. We had a blast and got our picture taken with me sittin in a big ole rockin chair..it fit my backside very well too..Fished the north end and had 13 really nice keepers and lost 4 on top of the water. Baits were blk/pink beavers, pumkin/chart woolybees and lime/chart wollybees...You would get bit really fast 1 time and it was over..A tip of all here..I put on some crappie candy after fishing several woodpiles and to my surprise after catching 1 without it and not another bite for 10 minutes..crappie candy on let it down in the wood and "BAM"...another niblet of candy and "BAM"..your gettin the point...even used juiced up bait also on my beavers and it worked as well...only regret AI have is I tried the candy very late on the day just before having to leave..DOW today was 6' to 10' and WT was 74 and the water clariety was about 3"....Ranger
