You must have been in front of us Ranger. I didn't notice anyone behind us...but of course when I'm putting in, I'm usually not paying attention to the people around me...I just wanna get out there after 'em...lol. I don't think I've ever seen your boat, what color is it, what do you drive? I'll be lookin' for ya next time!!
Yes Don we were on the ramp when ya'll pulled up. You I believe were with 2 other men gettin things together in the boat getting ready to unloaded. When ya'll headed out from the ramp we were long poling the point straight south of the loading dock. In my buddys Champion red and white. Now on the other hand I drive a White 2500 HD Chevy diesel and fish from a red and white Ranger 188VX Commanche with Yahama 175 HPDI..will not be in such a big hurry again without saying HI.....Ranger

Started in the Crowder area this morning and the bite was slow. Fished for about 3 hours and Odie and I decided to head South searching for a better bite. I should of known something was up since there was only a few boat trailors in the parking lot and only 2 at Rock Creek. After getting to our next location after a long truck ride we started catching fish as soon as we got there. Ended up cleaning 28 crappie and while I was doing that chore Odie caught 5 more. We were slow trolling with rod in hand today in 5' to 8' of water using the biggest baits we had. Super Wasshoppers, Yum Beavertails, and Slab Bandits in the bigger size. Water temps got up to 78 degrees in the backwater and was a constant 76 degrees in the open water. The females eggs had large blood veins but not ready. The egg rows were small and light in color. Looks like maybe a week or so off. We did catch 2 males that had their coat on but the other males were light in color...If the rain doesnt get carried away and with the full moon hitting in the middle of the week its gonna be dynamite.......Ranger

Bingo! I'm ready to hear those 70-100 count days.
The fish will be in on the banks this weekend! Thats a Eufaula boy Guarantee! Look for the cranes hunting the buck brush! LOL That water is perfect for those fish to stack up like stove wood! Can't wait! EB
I am driving 200 mile round trip fri., based on EB GUARANTEE. Thanks for heads up EB.
EB- what does buckbrush look like? Any kind of bush in the water?
Can't wait! I am out of school Friday so 3 days of fishing!
Peke
Im not good at posting pictures on here but it is basically bushes along the lake shore of Eufaula. Especially on the south and North ends of the lake! Those males like to lay in the root wads of the bushes! They may be anywhere from 6inches-3ft deep. EB
