Crowder area...36 crappie and brushpiles was the pattern..tried the back with cork and jig but way 2 slow for me..taking 3 fish that way..brushpiles was the flavor of the day..7' to 15'. deeper in the morning and shallower in the afternoon..5 fish over 16"...blk/pink super tube and blk/chart..seemed to work the best..albino shad in bass assain worked very well too..

was going to Tenkiller today but my buddy canceled..so eufaula here i come..crowder and blocker bridge area since the wind was out of the north..saw 3 different guides today..all with a pr of fisherman in their boat..all fishing those long rods and slowly moving down the banks..didn't see em catchin anything..well unloaded at 8:20am and fished til 2:05pm..had a limit of 37..brushpiles again from 6' to 14'..water temp was 61.2 early and when i left it was 62.8..warming up good..had 1 really fine momma...16 3/4" whopper..didnt weight it due to my batterys being dead..oh well..was a fine day on the water..the bite was really better around the noon hour only had 13 fish at noon..from noon til 2pm caught the reaminder of my limit..black/pink super tubes and bass assassin in the albino shad color was the ticket today..

Back to the Big Easy after a wonderful day on Tenkiller..was a gr8 day fishing new water..but the creel limit was a ahrd 1 to take keeping 30 big ole crappie between my partner and I, catching our limit in under 2 hours..to far to drive to head home so early so we fished for fun..but the hard thing was throwing back 2lb sows..was a nervous wreck..naw not really thats the future we released yesterday..now back to the Big Easy..first brushpile we caught 9 keeper crappie as fast as you could take 1 off and throw back to get another..then the clouds came overhead..like turning a light switch off..as did the crappie..8:15 9 crappie in the LW..at noon 16 in LW..and those 7 were hard to come by..then the sun broke thru and the water heated up from 60.1 to 64.9..the bite was on again..caught fish off the bank with cork and jig and in brushpiles..ended up with 40 at 3:50pm..fishing the crowder area again..blk/pink bobby garlands and albino shad bass assassins
