We fished the other half of the brushpiles today with Russ Anderson (Achiro) and Ed Hill. We caught 55 keepers fighting the 25mph winds, skiers, wake boarders, and bass guys that love to run and gun. The bite at the Big E is really really good.

That is the weirdest crappie I have seen. Nother one of them slimy trash fish that needs to take a canola bath.

Fished Day 2 with my Texan Clients Britt, Parker, and Logan. We started on the South end but soon loaded and headed North due to fishing for 1 1/2hrs and bit one time and catching one. Unloaded at 10 and fished till 3 and had 73 quality crappie and a 1.86lb toad. Lot of fish over or at 1.20lb. Beautiful day with Great Sooner Fans. Big Bait and Big Fish 3" Slab Slayers and Mikes Custom and a 1/16oz jig. Pumpkin/Chart was the color.......Ranger

I agree! Crappie bite is pretty good. I caught over 40 today with the biggest just over 14 inches. They actually hit minnows today. Last two days would only hit jigs . Looking forward to fishing all week. Well at least till the crowd gets there on Thursday. Not sure which is worse. 25 mph winds or jet skis . Ugh hate them both!
