Me and my dad Gaston got a chance to go with Brian aka Eufaula boy on Friday and had a blast. Dad caught a 2.09 and we had several other close to 2 lbs. We caught around 50 crappie, and took home 35 keepers. The crappie were absolutely body slammin the jigs. Several hit so hard it hurt my bad arm. Brian was a great guide, he gave me lessons in spider riggin and double dippin jigs. Like others have said, spending one day with Brian will shorten your learning curve by a bunch. After going, I got a new respect for guides like Brian and Mark. It's one thing to go out and catch fish, it's another to do it on a daily basis with lots of competition for locations to fish, and to teach people to catch fish while your doing it. Thanks Brian, me and dad can't wait to do it again.

Thank you for the kind words guys! We fished today started at 11:00 and quit at 4:30 and had 52 keepers. The fish didn't change much with the cold front they are still staging out there just waiting to do there thing. Had two great guys today that stayed with the cold wind and mist! The fish were biting really good today. EB
Glad the fish cooperated EB! Thanks for posting I really like reading these good reports.
I want to try going out today but it's about a 20 mph North wind I rather both deal with.

Fished with clients today and kept 50 keepers. Had a 2.0 and several between 1 1/2 and 1 3/4 lb'ers as well. Bite was good when the sun burned the clouds away and it got sunny, and as soon as the clouds took over again the bite slacked up. My clients had to leave early due to Ralph Jr. leaving for Alaska tomorrow. We fished for about 4 hrs double dippin jigs in pum/chart..blk//chart..lime/chart..blk/pink..pearl/chart and caught fish on all colors. WT was 53 to 54 degrees so it has cooled down from 58 as it was Saturday....Ranger

We had a great time and learned a lot. This was our first time on the lake and first time double dipping. Mark is a class act and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a guide. We will fish again.
Thanks again,
Ralph JR
