Hey Joey,
If you go down through Haskell, Boyngton and Council Hill, stop at Doc's Country Store at the Jct. of 266. I believe they open at 6. It's where I stop when going down early. Otherwise, I just wait until I get to Crowder.

I was going to suggest Dock's if you are coming down through Council Hill on your way. Also, there is a place a mile east of 69 hwy on Texanna Road that has good minnows, Lakeview Grocery. It would be close to on your way.

I went today by myself everyone chickened out! It was 36 degrees and the water temp was 44 degrees the visibility was 4-5 inches! They bit pretty well I probably caught around 30 and kept 25 over 10 inches. I was spider rigging minnows 8-10 ft in 10-16 fow. It doesn't matter how cold it is they still hit hard today! EB
