Roosevelt bridge across Lake Texoma is closed once again. Second time this spring. Storm Bill left enough water to take Texoma over the spillway and is still rising this morning. Currently 643.10' above spillway and rising. Could set another record before it crests. Wa****a and Red are setting new flood records. I-35 and Hwy 69/75 are in danger of shutting down traffic in both directison. Plus, a rock slide in the Arbuckles has only one north bound lane open and all south bound traffic is being rerouted to old Hwy 77 around Turner Falls.
I believe the Wachita has crested but, the Red has not yet. One bridge on the Wa****a was lost and others are closed.
The good news is that there is no more rain in the immediate forecast. I heard that if we don't get more rain, Texoma may get back down to normal by mid August.
Lake Murray is 3' over the spillway and the marina is closed.
I believe all marinas and ramps on Texoma are still closed.
