I appreciate the prayers. Everything is good. My whole point was evangelical in nature not the complaining. I needed to explain the challenges so that the spiritual benefits could be seen. I am healing up fine. My doctor says I am expecting to much to fast. The frustration aspect can be challenging at times but the witnessing and serving opportunities far out way the inconveniences. God has taken very good care of me. Far better than I deserve.
I took my little boat out on Texoma yesterday. Fished from Johnson Creek to the Roosevelt Bridge. Fished shallow, fished deep, not a single bite. I talked to a couple of campers that are at Johnson Creek every year who exclusively fish for crappie and they can not find any either. On the bright side the lake has plenty of bait in it. I have never seen so many shad in Texoma before. You could not cast a net anywhere without catching at least 3 dozen. Makes for cheap chicken feed to offset the fish cleanings they are used to getting. Not much of a fishing report but it's all I have.

Wow- that is deep water! Obviously no thermocline there.
I did not mark a thermocline on my depth finder. It does take some want to jigging that deep. It also takes calm water.
jigged some up at 48' today. Still no sign of a thermocline.
I still barely hang on to the record for now I guess. I caught two good ones fishing for Stripers with live shad at 50'! I was pretty surprised- guess it's normal on Texoma.
