Windy and cold is about all I have for Kaw yesterday. Water temp was around 39 at Washunga area and 47.7 in the small cove just north of Osage cove up towards the Dam. Really slow day.

Fish were deep today. Bite was good until front came through.

Hey Tim, nice to get a fishing report. I would love to be out there trying my luck too but I'm still on light duty from eye surgery. Maybe in another 2-3 weeks. By the way how do you like that Garmin? Nice pics. Which model is it? How's the mapping on it? I've been considering one of those for an upgrade. Does it have Lake Ponca on the mapping?

Running Garmin 93sv's with chirp. Unbelievable clarity. Don't know about Lake Ponca but I doubt it's there. Mapping is really good.

I got one of those sitting in the shop waiting to be put on my boat. The garmin store had a good buy on them a couple weeks ago. I am hoping they are as good as I hear

You won't be disappointed. I looked at all of them from Lowrance Gen 3 to Ray Marine. They all have there strong points but for the price none could come close to the Garmin. Just comes down to preference and how much you want to spend. I will still say it's more important to know how to use what you have but chirp sonar has made it much easier.

This is about the best example I can give you. If you notice the standard sonar in lower right corner, you can see that the majority of the fish are setting on the drop off side, which is on the left side of the brush pile. There is a few fish in the brush on the right side but the majority are on the drop off side. Just an example of how electronics help a lot. You would definitely put more fish in the boat fishing the drop off side of the brush.
