Glad you made it back safe. If I can ever get the SS Minnow rebuilt and running, I'll not worry about no stinkin waves!

Interior is gutted, going to check out all rivets and replace the bad ones along with reseal any joints which may include the keel. Hate to drill it out, but if it leaks, it will need refitted and most likely have to upsize the rivets to insure proper fit. I told you about the seized 90hp Yamaha I picked up and it's still hanging in a tree out front. Hoping it's the lower unit and not the head. I've got an 18 gallon aluminum tank and all the controls for it. The Merc that is currently hanging on the transom is supposed to be good, but I haven't tested it. This boat will be a complete revamp including the trailer. With three sides enclosed, I want to make it my winter time fishing boat.
I plan to also give it one heck of a paint job. Not sure if I want to bring back the 1962 look for a vintage boat, or if I want to transform it into a more modern look. I'm more into customizing for functionality then the antique value.
I happen to know a really great boat motor mechanic too!

I've got many things to do before I start putting time and money on this and you're on the list of "things". This project may never get done...

Fished Gibson today and was a chilly start. 21 degrees when I unloaded and warmed to a balmy 38 when I loaded. Had my limit in just over 2 hours and closed the LW. 12 Blacks and 3 whites. Biggest was 1.63 no pigs today but all were decent fish. Caught another 17 keepers and released them along with 5 or so short fish today. WT was 48.3 when I started and got up to 52 before leaving. Only fished about a 1/2 to 3/4 mile of river today. No need to go anywhere else.......Ranger
