Back of paradise cove and the bank in Jackson bay in between the 2 ramps maybe back by wildwood. If on the north end. Blue bill ,rock point , maybe 3 fingers if ya can get to it. Those are the few where I would start looking if I was bank fishing,,

I heard they are doing better on Gibson recently. Anyone able to confirm that?

I fished paradise cove yesterday from the dock , after the cold front went through and never got a bump in 2 1/2 hrs. I felt fairly sure that would happen but just had to try. only reports I have heard was you could pick up one or two but ya had to really work for them. als the lake was down several feet from when I was there last so maybe they moved back out to deep water .

Three of us put in at Toppers 8 am sat. 4/26 fished with jigs until 12.30 when wind got strong out of East. 1 small Black bass, 3 Drum, and about 12 Perch/Brim, no crappie, fished shallow to 18' deep. One boat had 1 Cat fish, Another boat was putting in as we were leaving they had been to Chouteau Bend with out any luck. A lot of Bass fishermen but only two boats fishing for crappie.
I'm heaving beef steak for supper from Sam's Club. (cheaper than CRAPPIE)

spring time on Gibson is too unpredictable because they fluctuate the water to much and the fish dont know if they are coming or going ,summer into fall is the only time the water stablizes and the fish ever get into a pattern where you can catch them consistantly,, for me anyway,, i live 10 min from gibson and travel all the way to eufaula or tenkiller to fish in the spring,,its a shame too cause gibson use to be really good in the spring
me and a bunch of guys contacted the corp about this about 4 or 5 years ago when it started happening and all they told us was ,,Its not a fishing lake its for flood control talk to someone who cares.......
    Thanks,
