    Fished Gibson today, ended the day with 27 nice keepers, caught over 100 throwbacks, big fish was 1.87 pounds and done spawned out, fished brush from 12-20 foot deep, shallower piles being the best, colors of the day was pearl truese and slick Jim in a slab bandit!!!

    went wed. from 5:30 to bout 8:00 ,,fished 14 mile creek and ranger only caught about 25 fish ended up with 12 keepers and lost 3 bigguns ,,suckers just came unbuttoned right at the boat(( that always hapens with the big fish ,,cant get the lil ones off the hook and cant get the big ones in the boat!!!!))) quite a bit of current made for rough fishin ,,fish were anywhere from 6-15 FOW on brush, water was really dirty on main lake vis. approx 1 1/2 ft up in creek vis. approx 4 ft wt 68-74 deg bait of choice today was blue/wht crappie thunder tubes ,some females spawned out and some not

    Had 14 today in the 30 mph winds! Pearl baby shad was the hot color! Didn't have to beg them when they were there! Brush in 10-12ft. EB

    Way to go bryan ,,, you are a brave soul for hittin the water on holiday weekend and willing to fight that stout wind as well. Much braver man than me glad you caught some of them big ol black crappie

    This is one of the blacks we caught Saturday in 2'-4' of water. Caught females with eggs and males with intact tails. I though we we're spawned out for the year??? LIL help please!Name:  photo1.jpg
