My bday was also this weekend what a heck of a weekend I have had with the kiddos being sick but definately want to get out there and see what's going on!! my freezer is sure low at this point but deer season is around the corner so can't put to much crappie In The freezer just yet !! Lol

Okay guys. Going to let my fellow OKC area guys in on a little something at the Bird. This is a bait I call the "T-Bird Special" that I make. A simple black/fluorescent green color 2.5" soft bait. The tail has a stupid silly action in the water. More than any other bait I have ever fished with. Team it up with a weedless 1/16 oz jig with a size 2 to size 1 black chrome sickle hook and you can't lose. The crappie eat it up like it's crack I tell ya. I will have a 3" soon that should work great with 1/8 oz jig with a size 1 to 0/1 hook.
