According to News 9, the woman was a camper in the Clear Bay camp site, and that is where her body was found. By the pictures, the area seems to be fairly close to the boat ramp, which is just beyond the fishing dock. So this took place on the south side of the lake. Not sure if responders would be coming from Alameda or not, since that is on the north side.
I finished this morning of Alameda in a cove and called several black crappie in about five foot of water casting and retrieving jigs .lots of small ones I talked about 21 in about 2 hours and 7 keepers.I also lost 5 Jug lines because the wind blew them unto the main body of water . It was my first time trying jug lines and being out in a boat when its windy like thisI tried to locate them but the main body of the lake has some prettt good swells on it so I lost about twenty dollars in jugs .
Sparky caught them on slurpies and only 2 keepers.....maybe something else going on around alemeda Rachel its that time of year
28th Annual Big Catch at the Bird Saturday. Either fish it or stay away from the lake if you had plans of fishing the lake but not in the tournament as it will be crowded. There will be alot of yard birds out there, lol.

Bank fished the north side from 2 pm to 6:30 yesterday. Caught a few big females, including one just over 12.5". The highlight though was this 24.5" saugeye caught on a 1/2 oz chrome rat-l-trap.
