Awesome man!! I appreciate the info. How deep are they?
My jigs were about 18" apart and bobber was anywhere from 18"-36" from top jig depending on how far out I casted. Most of the sandies caught were right up on the bank maybe 2' deep at the most. Of course I retrieved at a medium to fast pace so my jigs weren't that deep. Bobber was just used to not get snagged.
Rachelrig that top fish is a male white crappie that has darkened up due to the spawn. Caught a few yesterday like that.
Here's a few blacks I caught out at lake chickasha today for reference of what a black looks like. Attachment 160364
Correction on my Wes Watkins comment. I was fishing the south side of the rip rap at the north boat ramp.
Are they biting good at chickasha
Thanks BONE for the info.
Your welcome. Anytime.
Has anybody been out the last couple of days?
Went by there yesterday after my infusion and it looked like rough seas. Some people were out on the dock but I don't know what for except to get beat up by the wind. If they were spawning it would have been somewhere out of the wind that the fish wouldn't get beat up against rock, timber or whatever. I'm looking forward a few days when the temp gets back up and hopefully the wind is down. If the wind is up it would have to be out of the south for me and then I would hit the dam.
