shoot someone has sent me more 15 inch fish pics from cowan this year then I have caught in my entire life. I think his sonar is set to only find huge crappie.

Naah, he just trots the same fish out of the freezer every few weeks or so.

been gone for a while.... we only caught 90 all 10-12 inch fish did not caught 150 we did not count kids has aprt of limit sorry for the miss info. but the kids and dad had a blast caught all of them in 2 spots around the small island at paint creek in 10 feet of water but caught them in 3-4 feet.. damn electric filling knife went out had to hand fillet half of them. once i can figure out how to move pictures from facebook to here ill post them. i really though we only catch 20 but they were smokin the minnows and grizzly jigs. a reelfoot lake special that worked up here. for those who think im lying the old man at the boat dock station see them. those crappie love them river shinners dad and i got in portmouth where the scioto and ohio meet maybe that was the secret i dont know but it was fun and awesome the kids had a blast and that the most important part of this trip. i hope there expectations aint going to be to high next time.... especially if we get skunked.. and we all know that has happened to all of us

Did well before the floods, its been the worst fishing for all fish since I can remember when water subsided. Im glad u had success with the kids because even the locals success has been low. Keep those secrets baits coming because I threw everything in that lake except for my budlites. I bet ur kids had a blast and thats what matters!!!!!!!!!!!!
