Funny you mentioned ponds Bruce. My Brother-in-law and I got chased off of a pond in Pea Ridge by a 500 pound Black bear about 10 years ago. We had caught a bunch of bream. We had them in a 5 gallon bucket. Needless to say, the bear got to eat fish for supper. I'd hate to know I would have to carry a side arm every time I went i n the woods for anything. If they show up over hear. I will do all I can to remedy the recent pork shortage due to that swine virus that is killing the piglets. I will see if I can single handedly fill the supply gap.CF
