Chris, read this then check your charger. I have often wondered about being able to repair these chargers. If it is like this guy says you might be able to get a lead from minkota to repair. If not and the temp sensor is vewiable you might check with a couple of electronic shops in your travels and find something to replace it.

The temp sensor is in the cable heat shrinked wrapped right before the 2 leads that connect to the battery. You shouldn't have to remove your charger for the serial I don't think. They may ask for it, but you should be able to tell them you would like to avoid removing it. Model number on the front should be good. You'll have to cut your bad cable before the shrink wrap split and splice/solder/heat shrink wrap. When you cut the cable they will be 3 wires just like a extension cord, just match the new cable and you'll be good to good. Reason I know this because I got good deal on ebay on a minn kota mk330d that the wires were cut from a salvaged boat and fixed it myself. Need any more help just pm me. Good luck!
