Thread: MK 330 problem

Ok, finally did the right thing and called minkota. After being told by parts they don’t sell this part and you just have to trash your old charger I got frustrated. Smoked a ciggarette and decided to call tech support to find out how to repair. Low and behold they do sell the repair kit with temp sensor installed. So if you have a 220D or 330D here is part number.

If not mistaken there are two kinds. D and P . Might make a difference.

I really don’t think there would be a difference but if someone had a P and experienced this problem it’s a simple phone call.funny though I haven’t seen anyone experiencing this problem with the P units yet.

I'd like to see the instructions. Maybe a working bank could be swapped with one not working and verify the problem.

Cray, YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!!! I just called Minn Kota and spoke with the technical support department. They are shipping out a replacement cable today. FYI the part number is the same for a 460D as well.

Don't swell his head up to much, he will charge me more then a lunch to sort out my ongoing issues Really good guy, one of the best in my book. Won't too many do all that leg work to help others out on a problem.

Good deal. Glad I could help. My understanding was it’s different based on out put amps per lead. 5 amp would be different than your 10 and so forth.
