As I read this, it's hard for me to imagine low bridges without no-wake zones. There's not a no-wake under our largest bridges but they are for barge traffic and very wide between the piers. A couple of years ago the Coast Guard pulled the no-wake buoys at the Jonathan Creek/Hwy 68 bridge and instantly it was a demolition derby with idiots on tritoons and every other type of boat imaginable running wide open thru a channel no more than 100 feet wide that ALWAYS has boats fishing under it. There was an instant public outcry and the buoys were replaced. The no wake starts about 150 feet either side of our bridges.
