Regarding trolling cranks with braided line. I'm just getting started pulling cranks and spooled up some ten mono and ten braid. I think I like the braid better so, are any of you pulling cranks with say 20 lb braid. Looking at the chart I can live with those numbers. My problem is the catfish are busting my ten lb mono so I thought about spooling some twenty braid and trying it. One last question about the braid, are you tying direct to crank if you are using high viz braid or using some mono leader between braid and crank. I have used some 350 Arkies and really liked them especially their colors.

I use 40/10 so as to hold true to the charts with 10 pound mono.

Perry......I tie my high vis line directly to a snap swivel....then snap on the split ring on the crankbait......works for me.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
