All 5 of mine were ordered directly from Gene and all had the hardware packet in the box.

So how in the world are you supposed to know if they are knock offs or Not? What would be the difference????

Lacking the hardware may be a good clue Next if you have any (more) hassles with them they probably won't honor the warranty. Where did you order them from might I may ask, if not previously mentioned? Obviously not Mr. Gene EZ, cause you would have been done right the first time. Hint for anyone in the future viewing this thread, not saying yours are knockoffs at all, but it seems it may be possible
