I own a pair and agree with everything said by the others. I will add that Mr. Gene is a great guy, he was very helpful to me. I highly recommend him and his product.

Guys I've got a question... I got one a couple days ago and installed my seat mount off an old seat I had... When I put it n my double seat up front it sets up a couple inches higher than the other seat... What gives?

It was impossible to make these seats to be an exact replacement for each make and style seat. Many seats vary in thickness and you had the height set for that seat. And too, there are so many different leg lengths. Like was previously mentioned, some bases have a spring that can be removed, or added to make the correct height. I have a Predator and it didn't have the springs but I still cut one inch off the pedestal to make it comfortable for me. A lot fit, but some need some fine tuning. If you are in my area, I can cut the pedestal off if needed.

If you cut your pedestals to fit you, I might not like the height you like if I fish with you. If that happens, I'll be offended and want your flag banned. Millennium boat seat question?

I drilled new holes in the frame and moved the seat back 2in. Plus mounted it on the base backwards, so the arrow points back, this takes some of the lean angle out.

If I could ask another question while on this subject (Scrat, Im not trying to hijack your thread). Do these seats have a mounting plate w/ 4 holes to mount on my pestedal like any other boat seat?? My wife wants me to get her one, because she had to quit fishing w/ me because of her bad back. I gotta get this fisherwoman back in my boat before she runs me off!!!
