    You running a 12 or 24 volt motor? If 12 and just spidering one of them should be plenty.

    I Run a 12 volt minkota but it is only about 55# thrust. Will be spider rigging with it. Hope to upgrade trolling motor later on to pull cranks with. I have the large diameter pontoons and they create very little drag as long as the wind is not ruff. Runs very shallow in the water.
    Biggest crappie to date is 3 lb 9 oz at grenada in 1988. Still hangs on my wall.
