    Default About ready to go!

Well I got my Toon out of the shop and after only getting to use it 3 times in 3 years I'm ready to put it to good use this year. Had the carbs done, water pump.spark plugs changed and timing reset. Now I'm moving trolling motor battery's from the front to the back. Bought 6 gauge wire. Boat is 20 ft long so that should work. Now I'm looking for a new fish finder. Need to stay around 400.00. Seen where bass pro is going to have a 1 day sale on a 597ci HD DI combo for 379.00. In store only. Thanks Cray! Noticed Academy sports has the 598ci si combo for 499.00. Which is the upper limit for me right now. What do y'all think? Anyone use these units. I've always used hummingbird. What does a new golf cart battery cost. Thanks for feed back.

If you are in Memphis you can pick up the USBattery cart batts for around 165 each. If it were me I would buy the deal on the DI unit, screen is too small on those units to get much out of the SI. Congrats on getting it all together, look forward to seeing you on the water.

I have to go to Memphis the 5th of every month to get an eye injection. Be there tomorrow in fact and guess I will be at bass pro on the 14th to try and get the 597. Where in Memphis do you get the USBatterys?

I would get the one with si on it . Screen is small but it has the di on it too if you want to use it . Just my opinion , and around her that is like jig colors . Just plan fun to play with when the fish ain't biting .

Thanks Rees. Small screen fits me better anyway. I can only see small sections at a time. Very limited vision. I'm going to make a stand to put it up closer to me while fishing.

If you go in the battery store, ask him if he has any Blems. He sometimes has them at a little less with same warraty.
