Default Time again for Mamaw's famous cornbread dressing

I'm the goto guy every year to make the dressing. How to is in the recipe thread. I like to boil the hen two days ahead and make the cornbread and biscuits. Gives them time to cool off so they can be prepared tomorrow. Gotta make the dressing the day before as its always at its best on the second day. (And gives u time for plan "B"). This is my mothers recipe from her hand written book. I know she smiles down at us every time we make things from her book, I know we smile up.

I think that's great! I make my MaMa's cornbread dressing, too. She never wrote recipes down so I either had to learn them by repetition or write them down while she was cooking and beg her to actually measure the ingredients. I used to love watching her make pie crust.

I don't have much experience with this smoker. Got two turkey breast in it and I sure hope I'm not over smoking it with this applewood.

By the way, dressing is cooking
Two pans, one for Mary's son and his family Christmas dinner and the larger one for my three and their family's for Christmas night. Wow, two Christmas meals, hard to beat that..
