    I want to Thank everyone that posted s reply to my post and let everyone know that Charlie is doing better and getting around fairly well. He still hasn't tried to jump on the bed and occasionally has to have a little help getting back into the house. He is holding his tail high and has the shine back in his eyes. In addition I want to Thank all who thought of him and what he went thru. I will not forget what a wonderful group of people I have found on C.C.

    Glad to hear it! I cant stand kids, or grown ups for that matter that mistreat animals. I love my cats and my dog just about as much as any human can, and I am here to say if I ever caught or could prove someone did something to any of them I'd most likely be in jail.
    Everyday spent outdoors with good company is worth the time and effort it takes to make it happen. Take a friend fishing!

    My guess is that when you talk to the parents, you'll find out more about more about the kids. Sad, but usually true. These are the kids you read bout in 5-8 years for doing something as cruel, but it's usually against humans. Where has accountability and responsibility for children's action gone?????

    Back in the day if my parents found that I had done something like that, I'd still be sore today and I'm 66 years old.

    boarbuster I'm truly sad to hear these little scum bums did this to your dog, all I can say is I would be in jail after something like this, some things are worth going to jail over, mommy and the boys would have knots all over, jail would be worth the payback for my dog most everyone in my home town knows how I feel about my dog ............ again I'm sorry to hear about this get 4 or 5 15yr boys to whoop up on them for a year, let me know how much it will cost you I'll send some cash even though I'm out of work also

    I thank you and Charlie thanks you for your concern. If they are around when they turn 18 Charlie plans to deliver them a presnet in person. A DEEP SEA FISHING TRIP. After all sharks have to eat to.
