Thread: Ethics/legal question for ya....

several yrs. ago a buddy of mine and myself went to Enid . It was one of those days when everyone was catching the limit very quick (about 1.5 hrs. .) We decided when we had one fish less than our limit ,to throw them back and fish on looking for a 3lb. fish . game/fish checked us and wanted to know which had already caught their limit (we, did not answer, because we felt that he was going to write that person for fishing and catching over the limit) ? was told that the next fish that came into the sphere of the boat we would receive a citation ( because he considered both of us had the legal limit ) . Not wanting to get on my boss's bad side (I was a ranger at Enid ), we left . Wardens are like rangers , most are great folks trying to do there job, then there are some that have the "John Wayne " complex . Some wardens/ rangers write one book (25) in a yr. , some write a book per wk. Or day .
