I agree Handi, we have to have some compromises in mind for sure. Hooks haven't been in question and are most likely best left alone but we will see.

Default Pole Limit vs Hook Limit ?

I don't want to give an inch because I don't think we're wrong. I want six poles on the Big Four. If we MUST give, my second choice would be a Boat Pole Limit instead of Person Pole Limit. My third choice would be a Hook Limit.

I like the Boat Pole Limit over the person pole limit too.

Don't give an inch! They will try to take a mile. It's just like gun control laws. We abide by the same limit rules the single polers do, that SHOULD be the end of discussion.i know a couple of locals here in L'ville who talk as if trollers are a plague but they left the Ten-Tom last weekend with 84 crappie between them, most all were below 10", I'm sick of this hypocrisy!

Really? I make a post about a possible solution to the current changes and this is your reply. You have been flying under the radar on here lately but it won't be long before your banned again. Btw, you can officially take me out of the Tri-State thing to.

Handicrappie I like the idea as a comprimise.Know your gonna see as I have when I'v tried to talk about reduceing pressure some on here don't think it a problem.I would like for 1 guy on here that troll's to admit your odd's are better at putting more fish in the boat than a single poler for the simple fact of more hook's covering more water at 1 time.Oh your not just reduceing pressure by 1 hook your doing it by 6 hook's if 2 people are in the boat with 3 poles apiece My point of this reduceing pressure is not to keep people from fishing but protecting a resource that can be ruined by over fishing.I don't think you can over fish for # but you can over fish for quality(big fish).I use Grenada because I consider it my home lake I don't want to see it become a place you can catch a mess(I'm gonna quit useing limit because tha should not be your goal) of 1lb.fish with a very slim chance of catching anything bigger.
