a new jig pole? My second to last Wally Marshall green pole broke the other day. I almost teared up..
They don't make the model I like any more, the new 10' ones are too limber. I have got to find a replacement.i can not go fishing with just one pole, because it will break for sure within a matter of minutes on the water. I use a 10' pole. Got to be stiff, but not a broom handle.
Any suggestions of brands to check out. I kind of like the "camo" model

Sounds like an Outlaw jig pole is exactly what you are looking for. Not very heavy but they have good sensitivity and great backbone!!!

Chilly I bought one of first brushcutters when the were still blue. It was a good pole but let me warn you it takes some time getting used to it. It is so stiff that you will miss alot of fish when you first start using it. When u set the hook its stiffness makes you set the hook before the fish has it in its mouth real good alot of the time. JMO. I think the best jig pole out there is the Sam Heaton super sens. In 11 footer. I have about 4 of them and you are welcome to use one for a while if ya wanna make a decision.
