if you remember it was (12 inch rule) was intended for grenada, but public outcry caused the coe to say if we do it on one do it on all . think you are correct john , better try to shut the gate before it's a done deal (jmo) . its not the coe lakes themself . many of these folks jig and troll . the folks in vicksburg/omaha call the shots .

Who spends more money on their hobby, hell my trolling motor cos than alot of single-polers spend. And if you just look at a daily basis the trollers spend WAY more day in day out.

Single-polers I mean no offense to you, I luv it as much as anyone but I also luv to fish year round and like to troll.
JUST MY OPINION if folks would stop thinking there is a crappie season when we all know crappie bite year round and feesh can be caught year round on a single pole what difference does it make how many rods you have just plain stupid to me when you can catch a limit on one pole or 5 its the same limit of feesh if someone wants to get better at this sport of crappie feeshing you have to have a huge arsenal of weapons and spider rigging is one of them and this comes from a single poler since the age of 8

Just got off he phone with MDWFP and the next meeting will be in Jackson on the 17th of April, still got some hoops to jump thru tho. The next step is to email the Commision secretary and ask to be added to the agenda of the next meeting and they will advice when we can get this time, may not be in the April meeting. Will be sending the email in a little while and will post back the response.
Here's what we need when we go down there, BODIES of residents of the state of MS to back the speaker, minimum of 20 or so. We have to have our junk together and not propose or say anything that cant be backed up.

Heard back from the secretary, will compose a letter this weekend and have it waiting on her Monday morning. The meeting will be at noon April 17th, gonna need some of the Jackson guys to go with us. Got four or five comitted to go down from up here.
All the talk in the world wont get it done, we gonna have to put some effort into it.

This is an argument I've never understood. Personally, I think it's all fueled by greed. I'm with the person that said a limit is a limit. Don't matter if it takes 10 minutes or 10 hours... If you used 1 pole or 6...
I took a feller fishing the other day that was a 100% single pole jig fisherman.. I put out 6 pole, got the trolling motor set and sat back and played net man. When we were cleaning fish... He thanked me and said " man, I never knew what I was missing. I'm fixing to get set up an do more of this"

Did the same thing several times since I started slow trolling, catching fesh is fun, no two ways bout it.
