My 1st trip to Nader there were times they made a difference. As to why and when colors matter to a crappie, I have no idea. Alot of theories, but just theories. As for back here in GA, it has been the same experience. Good thing we get to fish with unlimited # of poles, because it helps narrow down what's hot quicker on a given day.

Well on the white or dark . I have caught many on a whit body jig in muddy water or stained . I was told growing up the light colors when it is muddy and dark colors when it is clear and everybody here always says the opposite . Old habit are hard to break . But i use two white bodied jigs on grenada the other day . When the water is more stained aka muddy the fish or a lighter color on clear water they are darker . It just seems that the bait fish would be too . I almost always have something wit hwhite in it . Grenada was pretty stained and the rez to me always seems stained . Just a thought and i like jig heads with the sickle hooks when possible . Just saying
    CATCH THEM ALL.
