BRM i know what you are talking about the tm hitting the winch, had auto piolet on an boat and was breaking props and side covers,had the tm mounted so it protruded in front of my boat.Got kit from MK that lets you mount the tm so that it wiil slide back far enough that the tm wont hit during launch. That has been on 3 diff power drives, havent broken a side cover or prop since.
