    Default Busted weld...

Well I waiting to hear if G3 is going to cover fixing a busted weld. I got back to the ramp Saturday and found this.... I dunno what happened. I didn't hit anything except a couple big waves from sky boats but I have been in much rougher water than that before. I sure hope they cover it, if not I guess I will find someone who welds aluminum and get her fixed up.

If they don't cover it, they might get some bad pub for it.

Very true... I brought it by Duncan Marine since they are a G3 dealer and they took some pictures and will let me know what G3 says about it. I believe they will fix it. I got my fingers crossed.

I had a G3 do the same thing but not that bad and in a different spot. Believe it not, they replaced the BOAT no questions asked. Didnt cost me a penny except time and gas to carry and pick up from dealer. I couldn't believe it and almost had it welded on before I took it. They stand behind their lifetime hull warranty.

Yeah a TIG welder would do it...

Crappie123 - I have heard good things about them also. I have high hopes they will get me fixed up.
