what do you all do when you go fishing by yourself, when you load and unload the boat in windy conditions? what do you do while you park/get the truck to keep the boat from getting beat up on the rocks or landing? especially if the wind is blowing sideways to the landing?

Pull it up on the bank as far as you can and secure it with a rope tied to something then lower the skeg to the mud so it can't move sideways.

I've got a long rope and I'll slide it over to the ramp on the downwind side of the ramp and tie it off both front and back to keep it up close to the ramp IF it's real windy. if it's just bearly blowing, I'll put it on the upside to keep it snug against the ramp. Now if we talking barnett, I'll look at the wind direction and put in on the downwind side of the lake.

What yikess said plus, if you're already on the lake, find a place to hide out till the wind dies down.
