There is a video of a guy using the I-pilot to do just that at the boat ramp on Youtube. My new Terrova has the I-pilot too, but I am not that versed at using it to put that kind of trust in it to do that for me yet. But an interesting note/potential warning about all COE waters. I don't remember and cannot locate the source back, but I just read somewhere that this year, the COE made a regulation about leaving boats unattended at ramps - they made it a big no no and supposedly they can issue tickets for this. I really hope this isn't true, since I fish alone occasionally too. What I've often did when putting in alone, is to ask for fellow fishermen's help, offering them $5 for their time has usually worked for me. Seen too many nylon ropes break to put too much trust in them when I'm not around to resue my baby!

Minnerman gets todays prize. That is an excellant idea , and it would work just fine, I cant see why it wouldnt, Although I would test it with someone in the boat just to test the range on the remote. Oh and the prize I mentioned is a date with WANNABE. PFTTTTTTT
