Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day!

Imma pro and I use Baitcasters (anybody that uses anything else is ignernt and certainly not a pro...even the pros that use spinning ain't really pros) and Viscious Hi-Vis 10# mainline with 10# Pline superline for the pre-tied rigs.
On the line...I prefer a hi-vis just for....well...visibility, but don't care to use it on the rigs...not because the visibility, but hte Viscious is not superb for abrasion resistance....therefore, the Pline get's that job. Don't care for rigs tied with braid, but braid mainline would be fine with a mono or equivelent rig.
That's just my opinion of course. And it's only a coincidence that it just happens to be the right answer.
Wannabe...
Wannabe...v2.0
A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
Bait casters for better drag and basically all I have used for over 50 years for evey kind of fishin. Have gone to all braid even on jig poles. Like WB I use Trilene extra tough 10lb on all the rigs I tie for abrasion. Way more Gewber not close to pro.
