    Since you're just looking for more speed, I'd consider a 2S Optimax. Lighter, faster, about the same fuel usage, should be cheaper on the front end, good track record. You probably won't spend any more for the 2S oil than you would for oil changes on a 4S.

    Call me, I sell both brands!!! Buy the Suzuki!!! I've sold 400 of them, and NEVER had a warranty claim!!!!! That's what I run if I can. The new Yammies are nice too!! I don't sell Mercury.

    I change my own oil, replace my water pump impellors, adjust valves, and replace timing belts myself , and many other things, its not that difficult, but I did buy a Tech Manual for my motor to guide me through all of this.

    No, I don't think so! Had a 24 year old fireman jackin with me the other day...He thought he could run and get away, should of seen his eyes when I run him down and snatched him up! Big don't always mean slow.
