    Those zukis are bullet proof, I would buy one. Yamaha's are undeniably reliable too.

    Japan is an island. Yamaha, zuki, or Honda all make great four strokers. The thing you want to consider is which brand will be easiest to get serviced in your area. Personally I'd go Yamaha since they have dealerships erywhere.

    Saw in a couple different forums that the zukies were a couple grand cheaper, but I can't find any prices to verify anyway.

    Just curious what I'd be out IF I ever have to buy a new one. Lookin like around 12K

    They might be cheaper.....but...............how far away is a dealer if you need warranty work done? Or..... just need a part ....I've got to agree with Speck on this one, its best to buy something where you can get parts and service when you need it.
