Snap-On is way overrated, You just pay for the name. Craftsman is just as good with a better warranty

Actually..... Craftsman wrenches are made by Snap On for Sears. And Mac Tools are owned by Stanley Tool Co.

For a shade tree at home mechanic, I don't blame you. I just had to poke a little fun at your janky tools.

G, I promise Snap-On doesn't make Craftsman. Craftsman are made by Danaher Corp. in China and Taiwan. Danaher Corp. is best know for making Matco tools.

Wilbur, you're not only paying for the name. You're also paying a premium price for the high quality metal, superior engineering, extensive heat treating, thicker crome plating, American labor, and front door delivery. And, yes, a LIFETIME warranty. It actually takes almost a week to build a Snap-On wrench.
