A combo of Lipitor and Zetia has Mr. CN's cholesterol down to 110-120 range. They gave him the max of Lipitor (which has either gone over the counter or is on the verge of it) and a booster of Zetia as he will not eat properly.

April is not the best at eating properly either. Sometimes she will and sometimes she is way off but with the meds it has come down alot.

And considering how SWEET you are, it would be nearly impossible for her to keep her sugar under control, right???

Congrats on your progress, Minnerman. It aint easy. My wife has diabetes and high cholesterol.That woman goes through hell trying to find things to eat. Her blood sugar varies so much she takes a reading before each meal, then decides what she can eat. Then, I'm no help either. She can't seem to stay away from the doctor. I go to the doctor once a year for a check up. Always expect a bad report as I eat whatever I want, but the test results have always been normal. I eat whatever she says when I'm at home. When away I live on fried foods. Go Figure! Anyway; keep up the good work.
