So at lunch, I went to Shoneys. The got a good salad bar and a decent buffay. I think I passed with flyin colors and here's the proof. Notice how small the plate is.
Notice I left some salad.
And fer the buffay. Notice no taters, Mac & cheese or rolls. Small salsbury steak, one piece of liver & onions and a little helpin of BBQ.
Unsweet tea and no desert. Boy, I feel healthier already.

In the cholesterol dept......You might be unhappy if you knew the fat content of some of that stuff on your plate. A salad can add up to trouble in no time flat. And I've always heard that liver is high in fat as far as cholesterol goes. It's 21% fat before it's prepared. I've had co-workers go on salad diets and gain weight. Guess you're going to have to do lots of research to figure it out. Hang in there, though. Once you get it figured out it will definitely make a difference!![]()

Look, I'm werkin on one at a time. Now that my sugar is gettin better, my eyes have cleared up some and my mouf ain't dry in the mornin as DD's jokes are. So when I get it stabilized, then I'll werk on the cloresteral.
Minner you will find maybe like I did that high blood sugar makes alot of things go wrong with your body. My main deal is that I have learned to eat at least 3 meals per day plus some snacks. Even if I cheat its better than not eatting anything at all. I sure wish there was a Shoneys around me somewhere I love to eat breakfast there!
Messican for me today, healthy too! Grilled chicken breast, rice, guacamole salad. I bet your salad was twice as fattening as what I had.
