Lawn Mower Website question

So I'm planning on buying a new mower before next spring. After debating on different brands of motors, I'm wanting a kawasaki motor, so I've narrowed it down to a few mowers.

Below is my #1 candidate.

But after finding this mower on the mowers direct website, I turned around a google the model # to try to find it cheaper. I found a lot of sites that offered it much cheaper. The cheapest being

On this site the mower after shipping is $1000 cheaper! Do yall think it's a scam? There are several websites that offer this mower substantially cheaper than $2500. Are they all scams?

Avian Garden appears to be based in Indonesia which doesn't help to soothe my suspicions. I also googled Avian Garden. I only found one other post from another suspicious blogger, and nothing of real texture.

What do yall think?

If you don't know what a 'knock-off' is, you better look it up.... They are just close enough to call themselves a brand name, but hard as h*** to find parts if you need em, and you gonna need em...
