yeah, the shocks make it worth the $$ as my yard looks like pot hole h&!! in some spots, and haven't lost a fillin' yet. Saves the body from constant bumps and vibration for the most part as well.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

[QUOTE=Wannabe...;1589138]123, I'll trade you a guided fishing trip for the smaller one. Or, I'll take you on a guided fishing trip where we catch fish for the bigger one.

Thats OK... have been managing more than at least 1 every trip to Sardis lately. If it gets any worse, I may give you a call. Haha

You MS boys ought to be ashamed. I give explicit instructions and the only one that can manage to get it done is from Alabama. That ain't right. Hang you head Gewbers, hang your head.

I'll check it out HarleyB. Thanks.

How much grass you cuttin? Ifn you gonna do it fer a living, then get choo a good un. Ifn you got a postage stamp yard, then get the husky. It'll do you fine.
I've got bout 2.5 acres I mow with a husky and ain't had no problems with it now fer 3 years.

I also bought mine at Lowes. It was one somebody had returned that only had 8 or nine hours on it and I got it fer half price.

Let it be known by all that there are only a few mower manufacturers left. I don't profess to know them all but I am pretty sure that MTD builds a lot of different brands. I also am pretty sure that some of the models that carry the John Deere name are not made by Deere. Simplicity not only makes their brand but others also. Toro is another manu. that makes their own products.

As has been previously said a zero turn will cut your mowing time in half. However be aware that if you are mowing on a hill and it is wet the mower, regardless of brand, will probably slide with you. There has been a lot of good advice given here. I would recommend that you take a look at the Toro line of mowers. Almost all of their mowers have Kawasaki engines. For average home owner use I would look at the Timecutter or the Titan series. If you want to move into the commercial line the Z-master series would be the one to look at. If you want to stray from the Kawasaki engines take a look at the Grasshopper line of mowers.
