Nothin better than fishin with good folks. Maybe it's the purty fishin hats that makes fishin with em fun. I enjoy fishin with Steve with his hat. Lol

That is a dual purpose hat. It hides some of the purtyness and keeps the sun off my ears and bald head.
Hafta keep incognito when out in public. Mrs Minner is the jealous type and she don't like all the feshin gals floggin and drewlin over me.

Only caught one little crappie pre-fishin', so I wasn't exactly optimistic. Hit a stump so hard on the way in, it sprung the latches on my cowling and knocked it completely off. Fortunately, no damage was done.

Minner invited us over to his house fer a steak dinner and I can tell ya it was fine! Met Mrs. Minner...Lets just say the boy married way, way up. Thumbs Up

Tournament day was cold and breezy. We caught lots of small bass, large gar and catfish, but couldn't find any crappie. Minner gave us directions at 1 pm to where he was and we finally caught 4 or 5 small ones.

I decided to forgo the weigh in and let my boys practice loading the boat on the trailer. They did pretty well, but this attempt resulted in a dented trailer fender.

Both my fenders are pretty banged up but it beats the heck out of loading/unloading by yourself. It want be long you will need another boat because the boys will be off in yours.
    We killed 'em here yesterday.
