Ya'll can all stand down. The boy ain't got the cajones to do what we're telling him to do.

    Terrova 101# 62" shaft, US2, I-Pilot
    MK Quick release for same
    3 new batteries, sized 31
New 4 bank 10 amp per bank charger
    US2 adapter cable
    Spare Ipilot batteries.

As the french would say "Ses noix sont assez petites"

My 80 Terrova on my 1860 G3 will last 5 hours with calm wind and 4 hours on windy days with two interstate 27 batteries. I got the Ipilot and US2 and the adaptor cable works great and easy to use. Nice to have a depth finder in the front of the boat.

The 80 will get my boat up to about 3 mph maximum speed. So when I am running 2 mph I am usually around 5.5 or 6 speed (Terrova has speeds settings from 1-10) so I am pulling a little more than half the max draw at that speed.

I only wish I had some 31s (if they would fit) or some 29s to get longer battery life. With your boat being a bay boat and heavier than my aluminum... The 36 volt might be the ticket. If running two 27s on a heavier boat you might not get the 4-5 hours I am getting. Just a thought...

Boy I just can not let all this go by. DD, is a bigger gewber than I thought because
    1) he had to ask about which motor
    2) he had to ask if Terrova was a Minn Kota
    3) a battery question
    and
    4) the gewb already has a spare battery that he got from Interstate

DD I have a 787 that uses my US2 on the Terrova with the adapter and it works great. Much cleaner install than a loose wire hanging down waiting to get snagged on something. Just keep saving and do what WB suggested.
