Sell the batteries you have now and get 3 new ones all the same.

OK. Remember that the US2 will not DI or SI so if you want to do those things you need to mount the transducer on the trolling motor foot. If you are going to use US2 you need the humminbird adapter cable to connect.
I do both.. Not at the same time but if or when you break the transducer off the trolling motor having the cable will allow you to jump to US2 and not stop fishing. That make any sense?

Quick release on mine, only way I can close the garage door. Works real smooth.

If you can get it without us2, I would do that. I have us2, but disconnected it due to interference problems. Lots of people have had the same issue and the us2 transducer is inferior compared to the factory transducer since it is 20 degree only.

No doubt the Humminbird transducer will perform best. But trust me being able to jump to the US2 in an emergency can save a day.

The 787 is not a DI or SI. I have my 997 on the back of the boat and need to get my interlink box hooked up. Just a straight FF on the TM right now
